This week saw the under 11’s travel to Toddington to meet our friends from Bedfordshire who we have had played frequently over the past couple of years.

The boys of Emerson Valley started strongly and saw lots of possession in the first half ,meanwhile having to work really hard when they didn't have the ball to try and contain the Toddington offensive unit.

One of the highlights for Emerson Valley in the first half was a fine left footed effort narrowly missing the target.

The second period saw an early injury for Emerson Valley, which meant an adjustment was required to the away team line up. But the boys soon hit their stride and the second half was really enjoyable to watch with some great football on display from both teams.

A tremendously competitive fixture that was played in the right spirit between two teams who clearly enjoy playing football.
